The Soviet Union was a fellow ally of North Korea. The Soviet Union had many supplies and warfare to supply their allies with. In my opinion, i think that The Soviet Union played the role of the supplier. They gave their allies all they need to do what they wanted especially when North Korea invaded South Korea.
